The GT500’s intoxicating sound seemed almost impossible to improve upon – until the introduction of these high-flowing sport cats. These once installed will significantly enhance power, tone, and sound, providing unrestricted flow. Equipped with 200 cell catalysts, they produce a louder exhaust note with a noticeably rawer sound. The higher frequency tones become more defined, and the deceleration burbles grow more robust and transparent. While the volume is not overbearing, the sound turns aggressively vivid at wide open throttle, and remarkably, there is no drone whatsoever, even with the stock muffler in place.
