What is included in the Power Package for C346 Ford Focus ST?

The Power Package for C346 Ford Focus ST ships with the Accessport V3, part AP3-FOR-001, the High Flow Filter, part 791101, the Rear Motor Mount, part 891010, and a CARB EO sticker. No intake tube, intercooler or exhaust part is in the box.

Is this Stage 1 package legal in California?

Yes. COBB lists California Air Resources Board Executive Orders D-660-6 and D-660-166 for this package, making it legal for sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states when installed per the COBB application guide. The EO sticker is included.

Which Focus ST model years does it fit?

COBB confirms the Ford Focus ST from 2013 through 2018: USDM and EDM cars in every year, ADM cars for 2013 and 2014, and CHDM cars for 2015 through 2017. The Focus RS is not listed for this package, although the filter and mount fit it when bought separately.

Will the rear motor mount make the cabin noisy?

No major change, according to COBB. The 85A durometer bushing has molded voids that absorb vibration at idle and under throttle while still holding the engine more firmly than the factory part, so some added feel is normal without the harshness of a solid bushing.

Can I move to a custom tune or Stage 2 later?

Yes. The Accessport V3 stores up to 100 maps, from COBB Off-The-Shelf maps for common bolt-on combinations to a custom map from a COBB tuner. Adding parts later means loading a matching map onto the same device rather than buying new tuning hardware.

Description

COBB Tuning Stage 1 Power Package for C346 Ford Focus ST

COBB Tuning’s Stage 1 Power Package for C346 Ford Focus ST answers two common complaints, timid factory calibration and wheel hop on hard launches, with an Accessport V3, a High Flow Filter and a billet Rear Motor Mount. CARB Executive Orders D-660-6 and D-660-166 make it legal for sale and use in all 50 states. It suits an unmodified ST; cars already running an intercooler or intake are better served by Stage 2 or a custom tune.

Tuning and Support

The Accessport V3 swaps the conservative Ford calibration for a more aggressive COBB map and stores up to 100 maps, so a car running the Power Package for C346 Ford Focus ST can step through Off-The-Shelf maps as bolt-ons arrive or load a custom tune from a COBB tuner. Ford-specific functions include adjustable traction control, launch control and Flat Foot Shift for manual transmissions, plus a full uninstall that returns the ECU to stock.

Features

Accessport V3 handheld ECU flashing device with Off-The-Shelf and custom map support
Adjustable traction control slip targets across slots 1-8 (feature must be enabled in the ECU calibration)
Launch control with 6 pre-configured RPM slots, adjustable on the fly
Flat Foot Shift holds a set engine speed between 3000 and 8000 RPM during manual shifts
Gauge display, multi-channel datalogging with up to 10 hours of storage, and performance measuring
Rear Motor Mount in 6061 billet aluminum with an 85A durometer voided bushing
High Flow Filter with woven cotton and metal mesh media on a precision molded rubber base

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
