The Fabspeed Lightweight Competition Exhaust System engineered for the 718 4.0L cars stands out as a meticulously crafted solution aimed at achieving the lightest and highest-performing exhaust possible. The design process commenced with the comprehensive 3D scanning of the entire exhaust system using the CREAFORM 700 Handscan, facilitating the creation of a complete Solidworks 3D model. Subsequently, the exhaust and fixtures were meticulously crafted based on this model to ensure seamless integration with OEM standards. After undergoing multiple revisions for sound and dyno testing, a 2.5′ (63.5mm) tubing with a crossover tube was selected to enhance exhaust scavenging and minimize drone. The flanges, constructed from thick 304 stainless steel, were CAD-designed to precisely match the OEM flanges and accommodate the reuse of factory metal gaskets.

The system eliminates the factory PSE valves, ensuring a consistently aggressive snarl regardless of the rpm range. Anticipate a notable uptick in volume with minimal cabin drone. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
