BBi Autosport Intercooler System for 991.2 Porsche 911 GT2 RS

BBI collaborated with C&R Racing to develop and validate intercoolers for the GT2 RS system, enhancing the system in every aspect to maximize cooling performance. This system underwent extensive validation in various environments, including 1/2 mile and road course settings, as well as in hot weather conditions. It is the same intercooler system used in the BBI VMax GT2 RS, which achieved a record speed of 226.95mph, making it the fastest GT2 RS 991 in the world.

Core Design

• The kit is designed for immediate installation (plug & play) and features a tube and fin core, chosen for its superior cooling capabilities. The decision to use a tube and fin core over a bar and plate was made due to its lighter weight and more efficient thermal inertia, allowing for rapid cooling when exposed to direct airflow.
