Valve Dynamics

• The distinctive capability of the Capristo Valved Exhaust System stems from its vacuum-actuated valve flaps. These flaps are engineered to open and close in response to driving conditions and driver input. During low speeds or cruise operation, the valves remain closed, resulting in a deeper and more resonant exhaust note. However, when the driver engages in aggressive acceleration, the valves open, allowing the engine to unleash a powerful and exhilarating symphony of sound. This intelligent design provides drivers with complete control over the auditory experience of their vehicle, ensuring a dynamic and immersive driving experience.

CES-3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust valves remain open
• The vehicle’s Cruise and Sport modes can be independently configured to establish specific backpressure limits, which subsequently determine the activation times of the exhaust valves. This provides exact control over the exhaust system, enabling modifications to accommodate the driver’s distinct preferences and resilience.
