The complete Capristo Murcielago LP670 SV high-performance system is designed to offer a balanced enhancement in power, drivability, and sound quality, while also ensuring a substantial reduction in weight. It adheres to Capristo’s philosophy of delivering the best of both worlds, allowing for the emission of an aggressive exhaust note under acceleration and a more subdued sound for city driving.

Valve Operation

• This functionality is achievable using vacuum-actuated valve flaps which respond according to driving conditions and driver input. When the engine operates at lower speeds and during cruise operation, the valves are closed, emanating a deeper exhaust note. Conversely, at wide-open throttle, the valves open to release the full symphony of the engine.

Control Module

• The exhaust valves operate based on backpressure and can be managed with the included Valve Controller Remote, allowing for the flaps to remain open permanently, unaffected by the in-series control intervention. Once the exhaust valve system is re-engaged using the remote control unit, the in-series control unit resumes control over the exhaust valves, facilitating meticulous control of the exhaust based on the driver’s individual preferences and tolerance.

German Engineering

• Capristo Exhaust systems are meticulously crafted employing cutting-edge 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, and CNC-bending/milling technologies at the brand’s German facility. Every system employs high-quality T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel, selected for its sonic resonance, lightweight properties, and durability, presenting a comparison to Inconel used in Formula One, and is meticulously hand-polished to a mirror finish.
