SOUL Performance Valved Exhaust Package for 992.2 Porsche 911 GT3
SOUL Performance’s Valved Exhaust Package for 992.2 Porsche 911 GT3 is a complete header-back system for the latest naturally aspirated GT3, engineered to give the 4.0-liter flat-six a sharper, more emotive voice without living with constant drone. SOUL designs and builds the system in-house in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, from thick-wall T304L stainless, with billet 304L head flanges and merge collectors cut on a 5-axis CNC and joined with back-purged TIG welds. Long-tube headers feed a configurable mid and rear section: choose SOUL’s own sport catalytic converters for a street-conscious setup, or the Competition section for closed-course use, then pick the tip finish and style that suit the car. A valved rear routes the exhaust through an internal muffler below about 4,000 rpm for a civil cabin, and opens to a 3-inch X-pipe path as the revs climb, so the GT3 can idle quietly and scream at the top. For the owner who wants the definitive sound upgrade for the 992.2 GT3, built to order and backed for life, this is it.
Construction
Every system is built in-house in the USA from thick-wall T304L stainless, mandrel-bent for smooth flow, with billet 304L stainless head flanges and a merge collector precision-cut on a 5-axis CNC machine. SOUL joins the system with back-purged TIG welds laid under ARCAL Prime argon, and assembles each one on machined fixtures that hold the geometry true, then quality-checks and foam-packs it before it ships.
Headers
The factory manifolds are the system’s biggest restriction, so SOUL replaces them with long-tube headers built around CNC-machined billet merge collectors and reinforced head flanges. Larger-radius bends and a v-band connection replace the factory clamps and gaskets, improving flow and making the joint stronger and easier to service.
Catalytic Converter Configuration
The package is offered in two configurations, and the mid sections are interchangeable if you change your setup later. The Catted configuration uses SOUL’s own 300-cell sport catalytic converters, with a precious-metal coating over a triple metal matrix core, for owners who want the cleanest setup and the lowest chance of a check-engine light. The Competition configuration is a free-flow section for closed-course use; on an emissions-equipped car it may set a check-engine light, which a custom ECU tune can address.
Rear Exhaust Section
The valved rear section carries the sound. Below roughly 4,000 rpm the exhaust is routed through an internal muffler that keeps cabin drone low, and as the valves open it moves to a 3-inch X-pipe path for a fuller, higher-pitched note. A modular tip plate lets you switch tip styles later without changing the rest of the system.
Sound
With the valves closed the 992.2 GT3 stays comfortable under about 4,000 rpm, with a reasonable, livable level of cabin presence. As the valves open between 4,000 and 5,000 rpm the flat-six takes on a higher-pitched, more refined voice, with a clear jump in sound level both inside and outside the car. It is a true dual-character system: quiet enough for the street, vivid at the top of the tach.
Valve Control
The system uses electronic actuators on a mechanical valve body, and it follows the factory programming: the valves stay closed until about 4,000 rpm, open gradually between 4,000 and 5,000 rpm, and are fully open by 5,000. A custom ECU tune can override the valves for full control. The valve hardware is required for proper operation; the actuators cannot simply be removed to hold the valves open, as they will not spring open on their own.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s included in the SOUL Valved Exhaust Package for 992.2 GT3? It is a complete header-back system: long-tube headers with billet CNC collectors, a mid section in your choice of SOUL 300-cell sport catalytic converters or a Competition free-flow section, and a valved rear with a 3-inch X-pipe and your choice of satin tips. The mid sections are interchangeable.
Which models does it fit? The SOUL Valved Exhaust Package for 992.2 GT3 fits the 992.2 Porsche 911 GT3, including the GT3 Touring, from 2025 on, all with the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six. It is built specifically for the 992.2 GT3 and is not a fit for earlier GT3 generations or other 911 models, so confirm your car before ordering.
How does it change the sound? Below about 4,000 rpm the valves keep the car civil, with low cabin drone. As the valves open between 4,000 and 5,000 rpm, the flat-six gains a higher-pitched, more refined voice with a clear jump in volume inside and out. It is quiet when you want it and vivid when you do not.
What is the difference between the Catted and Competition configurations? The Catted configuration uses SOUL’s 300-cell sport catalytic converters for the cleanest, most street-friendly setup and the lowest chance of a check-engine light. The Competition configuration is a free-flow section for closed-course use and may set a check-engine light on a street car, which a custom tune can address. The two are interchangeable.
Is an ECU tune required? No, the system works on the factory tune, with the valves following the stock 4,000 to 5,000 rpm programming. A custom ECU tune is recommended to override the valves for full control and, with the Competition configuration, to manage a check-engine light.
Is professional installation recommended? Yes. This is a full header-back system with billet flanges, a v-band header joint, and valve hardware, so a qualified technician and a lift give the cleanest fit, a proper seal, and correct valve operation.

Shipping Policy
-+
Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
