SOUL Performance Sport Catalysts for 997.1 Porsche 911 Carrera

SOUL Performance Sport Catalytic Converter Downpipes for the Lamborghini Urus transform the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 from quick to truly ferocious, uncorking a harder-hitting sound and sharper response while keeping high-flow cats in place. Large 3-inch mandrel-bent T304L stainless tubing is paired with premium HJS HD 200-cell catalytic converters to dramatically cut backpressure, improve turbo response, and unleash a deep, throaty exhaust note with aggressive crackles that suit a super-SUV. Co-developed with Gintani to comfortably support big-power builds, these downpipes flow far better than stock yet are engineered to minimize the chance of check engine lights, making them an ideal match for tuning and additional bolt-ons. Each set fits all 2018+ Urus models, sheds about 5.7lbs compared to the factory sections, and is hand-built with CNC-cut flanges, back-purged TIG welds, and fixture-tested geometry for precise fitment. Rigorously quality-checked, foam packed for safe delivery, and backed by SOUL Performance’s renowned Lifetime Warranty, they deliver a no-compromise upgrade in sound, character, and performance.

Development

The factory catalytic converters found in the 997.1 Carrera tend to be restrictive, making their upgrade a popular modification. SOUL undertook a fresh examination of the exhaust design, striving to develop the optimal solution. By conducting side-by-side sound comparisons between their split bank design and an X-pipe design, it was observed that an X-pipe configuration resulted in a hollower exhaust tone, eliminating desirable deeper frequencies unique to the 997.1 model, creating a noticeable difference. On the other hand, separating the banks enhanced volume and character, resulting in a deeper and fuller flat six sound with a touch of rasp, evoking an exhaust note reminiscent of air-cooled engines. Independent dyno testing conducted at Growler Motor Labs verified real and repeatable peak gains of 10whp and 14ft-lbs of torque, accompanied by a noticeable improvement in the mid RPM range. This upgrade enhances throttle response and overall drivability, rekindling the love for your Carrera with remarkable gains in both sound and power.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US.
