Eventuri Gloss Carbon Intake System for C190 and R190 Mercedes-AMG GT / GTR / GTS

The AMG GTR Eventuri intake is a fully sealed system developed through comprehensive real-world testing and airflow simulations. It features Eventuri’s patented Venturi housings, designed to provide the smoothest possible airflow to the turbo inlets. The housings contain bespoke filters that shape airflow and maintain laminar conditions, with the internal volume maximized to reduce restrictions. To accommodate the larger intake system, Eventuri also redesigned the OEM central cover. The sealed ducts connecting to the filter housings help stabilize intake air temperatures. Independent testing by Mercedes tuner RENNtech has proven that this system enhances performance in both stock and tuned engines. Each system includes a carbon central cover to complete the engine bay look.

The Eventuri Difference

• The C190/R190 AMG GTR Eventuri intake system incorporates patented carbon fiber housings with Gen 2 bespoke filters, delivering an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Unlike standard cone filters with heat shields, Eventuri’s design uses the Venturi effect to maintain laminar flow and reduce drag on the turbos.

Patented Venturi Filter Housing Assembly

• The filter housings consist of bespoke high-flow filters, aluminum cowls, laser-cut brackets, and carbon pods. The reverse-mounted filters are enclosed in the carbon pods, shaping the airflow smoothly toward the turbo. The Venturi effect, achieved by reducing cross-sectional area, minimizes internal pressure while maintaining laminar flow, functioning like a large velocity stack. These one-piece housings replace the OEM airboxes and flexible inlet tubes, creating a more direct airflow path.

Carbon Center Cover

• To accommodate the larger filter housings, Eventuri redesigned the OEM center cover. The new carbon fiber cover prevents interference with the intake system while enhancing the engine bay’s appearance. It features a V-shaped carbon weave pattern for symmetry and includes a recess for mounting the OEM engine build plaque.

Carbon Intake Ducts

• The carbon intake ducts channel ambient air from the front grille to the filter housings. These ducts connect seamlessly to the OEM ducting system and transition smoothly to the circular shape of the filter housings. Flexible rubber edging around the openings seals the ducts, ensuring that the housings move with the engine while preventing heat from entering. The duct volume has been maximized for optimal airflow efficiency, and the design ensures proper fitment and clearance within the engine bay.
