Blue Anodized Finish

• When exposed to air, raw aluminum develops a protective coating on its exterior through a process known as oxidation, which is analogous to rust. Anodizing, however, takes this a step further by creating a hardier and impenetrable layer of aluminum oxide. This layer of anodizing is resistant to abrasion, making it ideal for use on the racetrack.

“E-Slit” Double Shaving Effect

• The E–Slit Rotor is highly acclaimed due to the combination of a long slit that creates curves and an “E“ slit on top. Special Heat Treatment Process

• If a rotor is regularly subjected to intense operation, its surface can expand and contract due to the accumulation of heat which can result in the formation of small cracks (heat cracks). To diminish this risk, a pre–treatment was completed to bolster the components of the rotor, minimizing the probability of heat cracks during strenuous driving. Subsequently, the lifespan of the rotor has increased and it can now be applied for an extended period without much concern.

About Bedding

• In order to get the most out of circuit–specialized pads that are designed to perform well in high temperatures, it is important to employ a process called ‘bedding.’ This process involves preheating before hard–driving, so that the pads are not influenced too greatly by extreme temperatures.
• Competitions of the highest caliber in motorsports, such as SUPER GT, WRC, and a range of European races, necessitate bedding for participation.
• Before using semi–metallic brake pads, it is important to carry out a proper bedding–in procedure to guarantee the best performance under high temperatures and extend the life of both the brake pads and rotors.
• How to Bed:
  • When running a new product on a circuit, warm up the rotor up to between 400–500° C and be sure to avoid hard braking. When you have done this, you can then add atari, and then allow the rotor to cool off until it reaches 100° C or less, thus concluding the process.
