The Most Powerful Producing VR38 Intake Manifold On The Market

In contrast to many aftermarket manifolds that tend to offer gains primarily at the top end of the power band while sacrificing performance at lower RPMs, the Alpha GT-R Carbon Fiber manifold delivers exceptional performance across the entire power band. When compared to the leading cast aluminum intake manifold available, the Alpha manifold not only generates higher horsepower and torque, but it does so consistently throughout the entire power band. The Alpha intake manifold enhances power and torque output from the moment your turbos begin to spool up. What’s even more remarkable is that this increased performance does not come at the expense of response or power delivery throughout the RPM range.

Larger, Perfectly Molded Carbon Fiber Plenums

The proper functioning of the plenum is of utmost importance for optimal performance of any intake manifold. In the GT-R, there are two plenums, each dedicated to one bank of the engine. It is crucial that these plenums are sized correctly to ensure the appropriate volume, but their benefits go beyond that. Their shape plays a vital role in distributing charged air evenly among the precisely machined CNC aluminum velocity stacks leading into the runners. To ensure its longevity, the finalized design underwent a rigorous cycle testing regimen, enduring 144,000 repetitions in a high-temperature environment at pressures ranging from 0 to 50psi. This arduous process simulated over 20 years of operation for the average GT-R owner. Additionally, a burst test was conducted, subjecting the test manifold to extreme pressures exceeding 150psi. These rigorous tests highlight the unwavering commitment to quality and durability that sets the AMS manifold apart from the competition.

Third Fuel Rail Engineered To Support Incredible Power

To accommodate exceptionally high-powered GT-Rs, the Alpha manifold offers provisions for installing an additional Alpha fuel rail, ensuring an ample fuel supply to support a VR engine capable of producing over 2000+ horsepower. Precise positioning of fuel injectors plays a crucial role as optimizing the spray angle enhances fuel atomization and efficiency. AMS’ engineers meticulously incorporated these considerations while designing their third rail setup. This option is available for customers who may want to upgrade from the standard two-rail Alpha carbon manifold to a three-rail system in the future.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
