Most products in the Bulletproof catalog will be covered by our 30 day return policy. Products ordered from US-based manufacturers may be eligible for a refund, at the discretion of the manufacturer or authorized distributor, if still in new condition and in original packaging. Any refund will be issued at our discretion and will be subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee. Shipping fees are not refundable. No exchange or return will be allowed or accepted without a pre-confirmed RMA # issued by management of Bulletproof Automotive in writing. All internationally sourced products are automatically considered special order items and will not be eligible for any refund or exchange. For special order items, we will happily exchange parts that do not match with the product which was ordered.
All products that are ordered on a pre-paid made-to-order basis or are not regularly stocked in the USA by the manufacturer or distributor are considered “special orders”. All special orders must be paid in full prior to starting the order. Special orders are non-refundable.
Some items may be special ordered or made to order specifically for your vehicle. Special order items are defined as items that need to be built to order, items that are customized or one-offs, items that are non-refundable from the manufacturer, or generally anything that is outside the bounds of normal stock.
This means that once the invoice or deposit is paid, they cannot be cancelled or returned for any reason. Once the order is placed, no changes can be made, so please review the specifications. All sales on special order items are final.
If you are dissatisfied with the item in any way such as appearance, functionality, etc. Bulletproof will do everything it can to assist you in seeking assistance from the manufacturer. Please take caution in your purchase as some items are not intended for use with overseas vehicle variants. We guarantee that all products we sell are genuine and in new condition unless explicitly marked as blemished or used. We cannot guarantee exact fit of imported products on vehicles of different origin than manufacturer’s intended use.
Bulletproof’s core focus is procurement of automotive products from varying countries, particularly from Japan. On some occasions there are multiple variations of the same general product offered by a manufacturer. When placing an order, it is the customer’s responsibility to supply us with product numbers, and/or exact information identifying the product being purchased. Without exact details, provided at the time of order submission, Bulletproof cannot be held responsible for fulfillment of similar but not intended product. Bulletproof considers any item produced by the intended manufacturer, for the intended vehicle (in the manufacturer’s origin country), with a similar product title, to be a match to the ordered part. Your order is not conditional upon guaranteed fitment. Any disputes regarding incorrect product fulfillment must be filed within five days of product delivery and must be accompanied with written documentation supporting the claim. In all foreseeable times of potential miscommunication, we will contact our customers to verify details of their order.
Estimated lead times provided for special orders are estimates only. While it isn’t common, delays can and do happen and a delay in the manufacturing or fulfillment of my order is not a valid reason to cancel. Please be aware that many manufacturers do not provide updates on special order products outside of major production milestones or even the actual release of the product. Bulletproof cannot accept responsibility for delays beyond our control and will not incur damages due to such delays
You will be provided a shipping estimate at the time of the invoice. Shipping charges can and do change regularly and sometimes drastically. While every reasonable effort will be made to provide an accurate estimate based on current rates, fluctuations in shipping costs are not a valid reason to cancel. The final shipping charges can only be calculated once the item is in our warehouse. We work with a large number of shipping providers and brokers to ensure we are always providing the most reasonable rates possible.
Special order parts must be inspected immediately upon receipt. In the event of a freight delivery (common with larger items such as body parts and aero components), the packaging should be photographed, opened and all components inspected and documented prior to signing for the parts and release of the driver. While all shipments are insured, failure to follow these steps will result in the contracted carrier denying insurance claims. In the instance of normal, non freight deliveries (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc), packaging should be photographed and the products should be inspected immediately. Failure to notify Bulletproof with documentation of a damaged shipment within 24 hours will result in the contracted carrier denying insurance claims.
