3D Scanning

• Once the model and concept are finalized, ZACOE Performance sources an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to create an exceptionally precise digital model. Using a specialized scanner, the car’s exact shape and dimensions are captured, forming the foundation for the design process. ZACOE Performance prioritizes accuracy at this stage to ensure seamless integration of sophisticated inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment. The scanning process typically requires over 40 hours per vehicle.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digitally scanned model in hand, ZACOE Performance’s design team gathers for brainstorming sessions and begins sketching concepts by hand. These initial ideas are transformed into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where the boldest concepts take shape in the digital space. Once the draft design is completed, basic aerodynamic testing is performed using advanced software tools. Cutting-edge technology enables ZACOE Performance to deliver designs marked by innovation, exceptional quality, and surprising results.

Prototyping

• After the design is finalized and tested, ZACOE Performance fabricates a physical prototype of the kit using ABS. This step involves employing specialized equipment such as 3D printers or CNC machines to produce each component. The prototype is then assembled and tested on the vehicle to confirm accurate fitment and performance as intended.

Mold-making

• Following successful prototype testing and adjustments, ZACOE Performance creates molds for the carbon fiber kit. Using the prototype as a guide, molds are crafted for each component, combining skilled manual techniques with precision machinery. This meticulous process results in a lightweight, sleek carbon fiber kit that enhances the car’s aesthetics and performance.
