3D Scanning

• Once the model and concept are finalized, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM vehicle and conducts an extensive 3D scanning process to create a highly accurate digital model. This involves using a specialized scanner to capture the precise shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior, forming the foundation for the design process. Precision is essential, as ZACOE Performance integrates advanced inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, with scanning often requiring over 40 hours per vehicle.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digital model complete, ZACOE Performance designers begin by brainstorming and sketching initial concepts by hand. These ideas are then refined using computer-aided design (CAD) software, allowing them to develop and perfect their most ambitious designs. Once a draft is finalized, preliminary aerodynamic tests are conducted using advanced simulation software to ensure a balance of innovation, quality, and performance.

Prototyping

• Next, ZACOE Performance produces a physical prototype of the kit using ABS material. Each component is crafted with precision utilizing specialized equipment such as 3D printers and CNC machines. The prototype is then assembled and rigorously tested on the vehicle to verify proper fitment and performance.

Mold-making

• Following successful testing and adjustments, ZACOE Performance proceeds with mold production for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype serves as the basis for crafting molds for each component, combining expert craftsmanship with advanced machinery.
