Development

SOUL’s plug-and-play X-Pipe Exhaust System pairs with the factory catted components or any aftermarket components built to the OEM rear muffler connection, delivering real gains even on its own. Unlike muffler replacements that rely on smaller valves-closed tubing, which struggles to create a real delta against factory cats, this cost-conscious x-pipe skips the secondary flow path entirely, holding a reasonable low-speed tone while maximizing top-end sound. Though simple, it isn’t a straight-through design: it’s adapted from SOUL’s Performance Exhaust System to fit all OEM connection points, delivering a rich, smooth, high-pitched note with limited drone.

Construction

Each set is assembled in-house in the USA out of mandrel-bent, thick-wall .065in T304L stainless steel. Back-purged TIG welding, with ARCAL Prime argon gas, ensures proper weld penetration and longevity, crucial for durability on the track. Water-jet cut exhaust flanges are made to ISO 9001:2015 standards with tolerances of +/-0.003in for extreme precision. These systems are fabricated using thick-gauge aluminum fixtures, which act as a heat sink during welding and prevent warping of both the products and the fixtures themselves, ensuring perfect fitment.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
