With the application of the identical Hybrid Forged process, the series has extended its presence to encompass the truck and SUV markets, presenting a fresh lineup of 6-lug models.

Among Vossen’s collection of Hybrid Forged designs, the HF6-3 stands out as a dedicated 6-lug option tailored explicitly for the truck and SUV market. Crafted using the same Hybrid Forged process employed by the other models in the series, the HF6-3 offers a selection of 5 standard transparent finishes and 5 customizable finishes to choose from.

The Flow Forming Process

• The process initiates with the wheel-shaped mold being securely attached to the rotating flow forming machine, after which careful heating takes place. Hydraulic rollers are employed to exert controlled pressure on the barrel, facilitating the gradual expansion of the wheel. Meticulous stretching and compressing techniques are then utilized to precisely manipulate and adjust the material, achieving the desired width. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is enhanced, resulting in a final composition that strikingly resembles a factory-produced wheel. This advanced process not only reduces weight but also strengthens the construction, yielding a wheel that is lighter and stronger.
