The Flow Forming Process

• The process commences with the precise attachment of a mold shaped like a wheel to the rotating flow forming machine, which is subsequently heated. Hydraulic rollers then apply pressure to the barrel, expanding the wheel. To achieve the desired width, the material undergoes meticulous manipulation and adjustment through stretching and compressing. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is enhanced, culminating in a lighter and stronger composition that strikingly resembles a factory-made wheel.
