The Flow Forming Process

• The process begins with securely attaching a mold shaped like a wheel to the rotating flow forming machine, which is then heated with care. Hydraulic rollers are employed to apply pressure on the barrel, gradually expanding the wheel. To achieve the desired width, the material undergoes meticulous manipulation and adjustment through precise stretching and compressing techniques. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is improved, resulting in a composition that is lighter and stronger. The final product bears a striking resemblance to a factory-produced wheel.
