The Flow Forming Process

• The process commences by meticulously attaching a precisely shaped wheel mold to the rotating flow forming machine, followed by the controlled application of heat. Utilizing hydraulic rollers, precise and controlled pressure is exerted on the barrel, gradually expanding the wheel. Through careful execution of stretching and compressing techniques, the material undergoes meticulous manipulation and adjustment to achieve the desired width. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is enhanced, resulting in a final composition that closely resembles a wheel manufactured in a factory. This advanced process not only reduces weight but also enhances strength, resulting in a wheel design that is both lighter and stronger.
