The Flow Forming Process

• The process begins with the meticulous attachment of a precisely shaped wheel mold to the rotating flow forming machine, followed by the controlled application of heat. Hydraulic rollers are then utilized to exert precise and controlled pressure on the barrel, gradually expanding the wheel. Through careful execution of stretching and compressing techniques, the material undergoes meticulous manipulation and adjustment to achieve the desired width. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is enhanced, resulting in a final composition that closely resembles a wheel manufactured in a factory.
