The Flow Forming Process

• During the flow forming process, a cast wheel is securely attached to the drum and subjected to heat. Hydraulic rollers are then utilized to exert controlled pressure on the wheel, effectively stretching its material until the desired width is achieved. As a result, the grain structure of the aluminum is enhanced, leading to a barrel that is both stronger and lighter, comparable to the construction of forged wheels.
