The Flow Forming Process

• The process begins with the meticulous attachment of a precisely shaped wheel mold to the rotating flow forming machine, initiating a carefully controlled and precise application of heat. Hydraulic rollers are utilized to apply precise and controlled pressure to the barrel, facilitating the gradual expansion of the wheel. Diligent techniques involving stretching and compressing are meticulously employed to manipulate and adjust the material, achieving the desired width with exceptional precision. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is optimized, resulting in a final composition that closely resembles a wheel produced in a factory.
