The Flow Forming Process

• The process commences with the secure attachment of a wheel-shaped mold to the rotating flow forming machine, ensuring a precise fit. Heat is then carefully applied to the mold, facilitating the subsequent steps. Hydraulic rollers are deployed to exert controlled pressure on the barrel, allowing for the gradual and precise expansion of the wheel. Through meticulous execution of stretching and compressing techniques, the material undergoes careful manipulation and adjustment to achieve the desired width with utmost precision. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is enhanced, resulting in a final composition that remarkably mirrors the quality and craftsmanship of factory-produced wheels.
