The Flow Forming Process

• The process begins with securely fastening the wheel-shaped mold to the rotating flow forming machine, initiating a meticulously planned heating procedure. Subsequently, precise and controlled pressure is applied to the barrel using hydraulic rollers, facilitating the gradual expansion of the wheel. Diligent techniques involving careful stretching and compressing are employed to manipulate and adjust the material, achieving the desired width with exceptional precision. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is optimized, resulting in a final composition that closely resembles a wheel produced in a factory.
