The Flow Forming Process

• The process begins by securely affixing a wheel-shaped mold to the rotating flow forming machine, which is then subjected to controlled heat. Hydraulic rollers are utilized to apply precise pressure on the barrel, facilitating the gradual expansion of the wheel. To achieve the desired width, the material undergoes meticulous manipulation and adjustment through carefully executed stretching and compressing techniques. By extending the barrel material, the grain formation of aluminum is enhanced, resulting in a final composition that remarkably resembles a wheel produced in a factory.
