• Vossen’s Hybrid Forged 6-lug designs include the HF6-4, specifically designed for trucks and SUVs. These wheels are crafted using Vossen’s signature Hybrid Forging process, ensuring exceptional quality and performance.

The Flow Forming Process

• The process begins by securing a cast wheel onto the rotating drum for flow forming and applying heat. Hydraulic pressure from rollers is then exerted on the wheel’s barrel, causing it to undergo stretching. Through a combination of stretching and compressing techniques, the wheel’s material is manipulated to achieve the desired width. By stretching the aluminum barrel material, its grain structure is transformed and enhanced, resulting in a barrel that is both stronger and lighter, akin to those produced through forging methods.
