The Flow Forming Process

• Flow forming begins by placing a cast wheel onto a heated, rotating drum, where hydraulic rollers apply consistent, even pressure to the barrel. As the barrel gradually expands to its final width, the aluminum’s grain structure is compacted and realigned, significantly improving strength and durability. This advanced process results in a lightweight, high-performance wheel barrel with characteristics similar to those of a fully forged wheel.
