The Flow Forming Process

• Flow forming starts with a cast wheel secured to a heated forming drum, where hydraulic rollers apply controlled pressure to the barrel, gradually stretching it to its final width. This precise process refines the aluminum’s grain structure, producing a lighter, stronger barrel with performance characteristics close to a fully forged wheel.
