Design

• Vossen ensures accurate fitments by measuring over 100 data points on each vehicle, crafting each wheel specifically for various vehicle models and makes.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are made using Vossen’s specialized forging process, which improves the spoke profile and adds material to the face for profiles ranging from flat to super deep concave. This method enables the production of an 8.5” width wheel that achieves the maximum concavity of a 12.5” wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility uses the latest technology to ensure top-quality finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen Forged wheels uphold the highest quality standards at every production phase.
  • Hand Prep: Each wheel is carefully hand-sanded and deburred after machining to ensure premium finishes. Wheels that receive a brushed finish are extensively hand-sanded, sometimes up to five hours per wheel, to ensure a consistent brushed texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: This stage is the most intensive and fulfilling part of the finishing process. Offered as upgrades for all Vossen Forged lines, brushed wheels emphasize the refined beauty of forged aluminum, while full ceramic polishing delivers a mirror-like finish. Combining these techniques provides the best results.
  • Pre-Treatment: After hand preparation, all wheels undergo a seven-step cleansing pre-treatment to remove contaminants before powder coating. This pre-treatment guarantees a strong and consistent finish afterward.
  • Powder Coating: Vossen’s dedicated powder coating facility, built specifically for wheels, incorporates advanced components and the finest powders to achieve a lasting, even finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Following powder coating, a final inspection verifies the finish’s quality and consistency, using a film thickness gauge to ensure uniformity. Each wheel is then cleaned and prepared for shipping.

Center Caps

• Vossen’s center caps are carefully designed to offer both durability and a cohesive look. They come in polished or brushed finishes, each featuring a standard red “V” shield. These finishes are provided at no additional cost, with an option to color-match the caps to the wheels for an extra fee. For a more premium option, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with unique “V” inserts. Additionally, a floating cap option is available, which can also be chosen for Rolls Royce vehicles (requires selecting a “plate” option for floating caps).
