Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are crafted using Vossen’s unique forging process, which enhances spoke profile and integrates additional material on the face to accommodate profiles from flat to super deep concave. This technique enables the production of an 8.5” width wheel that achieves the maximum concavity of a 12.5” wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility utilizes cutting-edge technology to achieve the highest quality finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen Forged wheels are maintained at industry-leading quality standards throughout every production stage.
  • Hand Prep: Every wheel is meticulously hand-sanded and deburred post-machining to secure premium finishes. Wheels intended for a brushed look are thoroughly hand-sanded for as long as five hours per wheel to ensure a consistently brushed texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: This step is the most intensive and rewarding part of the finishing process. Brushed and polished as optional upgrades for all Vossen Forged lines, these wheels showcase the natural elegance of forged aluminum and offer a gleaming, mirror-like appearance. The combination of these methods yields superior results.
  • Pre-Treatment: Following hand preparation, all wheels undergo a seven-stage cleansing pre-treatment to eliminate any impurities before powder coating, ensuring a robust and even finish afterward.
  • Powder Coating: Designed specifically for wheels, Vossen’s in-house powder coating facility employs advanced components and premium powders to deliver a durable and uniform finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Post-powder coating, a thorough final inspection confirms the quality and consistency of the finish, with a film thickness gauge used to ensure uniformity. Each wheel is then cleaned and readied for delivery.

• Vossen’s center caps are expertly crafted to guarantee both durability and a cohesive design. Available in polished or brushed finishes, they come standard with a red “V” shield. These finishes are provided at no additional cost, with the option to color-match the caps to the wheels for an extra fee. For a more premium selection, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps featuring distinctive “V” inserts. Additionally, a floating cap option is available and can be selected for Rolls Royce vehicles (requires selecting a “plate” option for floating caps).
