Engineered Art

• Vossen expertly blends the precision of custom forged wheels with the affordability of cast wheels. The company offers custom CNC machining, enabling the production of nearly any bolt pattern, center bore, and offset with remarkable accuracy and efficiency.

Design

• To guarantee an ideal fit, Vossen collects over 100 data points for each vehicle, with every wheel being custom-built for specific makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are manufactured using Vossen’s proprietary forging method, which creates an efficient spoke profile. This technique adds additional material to the wheel face, allowing for profiles ranging from flat to super deep concave. This enables an 8.5″ wide wheel to have the concavity of a 12.5″ wide wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility uses state-of-the-art technology to produce exceptional finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen ensures superior quality by controlling every stage of the process.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – After machining, each wheel is hand-sanded and deburred to achieve a flawless finish. Wheels with a brushed finish undergo an extensive hand-sanding process, which can take up to five hours per wheel, ensuring a consistent brushed texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most labor-intensive and rewarding part of the process involves brushing and polishing. These enhancements are available across the Vossen Forged line. Brushed wheels showcase the natural beauty of the forged aluminum grain, while full ceramic polishing creates a mirror-like finish. A combination of both delivers a premium aesthetic.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – Following hand prep, all wheels undergo a seven-stage pre-treatment cleansing process to remove impurities before powder coating, resulting in a stronger and more consistent finish.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s dedicated in-house powder coating facility utilizes advanced equipment and high-quality powders to deliver a durable, uniform finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, a final inspection ensures the finish’s quality and consistency. A film thickness gauge is used to verify uniformity before each wheel is cleaned and packaged for shipment.

• Vossen’s center caps are designed for durability and aesthetic harmony. Available in polished or brushed finishes, they feature the signature red “V” shield as a standard. Standard finishes are included at no additional cost, with an option to color match the wheels for a fee. For a premium option, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with exclusive “V” inserts. Additionally, a floating cap option is available, which can also be selected for Rolls Royce vehicles (a “plate” option is required for floating caps).
