Engineered Art

Design

• To achieve a perfect fit, Vossen collects over 100 data points from each vehicle, with every wheel custom-made to suit specific makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are made using Vossen’s exclusive forging process, which optimizes the spoke profile by adding extra material to the wheel face. This allows for a range of profiles from flat to deep concave, giving an 8.5” wide wheel the concavity of a 12.5” wide wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility utilizes cutting-edge technology to deliver premium finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, every step is controlled to ensure the highest quality results.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – After machining, each wheel is meticulously hand-sanded and deburred to achieve a flawless finish. For brushed finishes, this hand-sanding process can take up to five hours per wheel to ensure a consistent texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most labor-intensive and rewarding stage is brushing and polishing, available throughout the Vossen Forged lineup. Brushed finishes bring out the natural beauty of forged aluminum, while ceramic polishing produces a mirror-like finish. Combining both creates a premium look.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – After hand prep, the wheels go through a seven-step pre-treatment cleaning process to remove impurities before powder coating, resulting in a stronger, more uniform finish.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s specialized in-house powder coating facility uses advanced technology and premium powders to ensure a durable, consistent finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, a final inspection ensures the quality and uniformity of the finish. A film thickness gauge verifies consistency before the wheels are cleaned and prepared for shipment.

• Vossen’s center caps are designed for both durability and visual harmony. Offered in polished or brushed finishes, they feature the iconic red “V” shield as standard. Standard finishes are provided at no additional cost, with the option to color match the wheels for a fee. For a premium upgrade, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with exclusive “V” inserts. A floating cap option is also available, including for Rolls Royce vehicles (a “plate” option is required for floating caps).
