The Factory

• Vossen is one of the few companies worldwide that manufactures forged wheels entirely in-house. Based in Miami, Florida, Vossen operates a state-of-the-art, TUV Verified facility equipped with the latest machinery.

Engineered Art

• Vossen bridges the gap between the precision of custom forged wheels and the affordability of cast wheels. The company provides custom CNC machining to fit nearly any bolt pattern, center bore, and offset with unparalleled precision and efficiency.

Design

• Vossen achieves precise fitments by taking measurements from over 100 different data points on each vehicle. Each wheel is custom-made for specific vehicle makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are machined using Vossen’s proprietary forging design. This design allows for the production of wheels with an efficient spoke profile, engineered with extra material on the face to support various profiles from flat to super deep concave. This innovative method enables the creation of an 8.5” width wheel with maximum concavity similar to that of a 12.5” wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility uses advanced equipment to produce top-quality finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen maintains industry-leading quality by carefully monitoring each step of the process.
  • Hand Prep: Step-1 – To achieve superior finishes, each wheel is hand-sanded and deburred after machining. Wheels with a brushed finish undergo an extensive hand-sanding process, lasting up to five hours each, to ensure an even, brushed appearance throughout.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step-2 – The most time-consuming yet rewarding part of the finishing process is brushing and polishing. Available as upgrade options across the Vossen Forged line, brushed wheels reveal the beauty of the forged aluminum grain, while full ceramic polishing creates a mirror-like finish. Brushing and polishing can also be combined for an optimal result.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step-3 – After hand preparation, all wheels go through a seven-stage pre-treatment cleansing process to remove impurities before powder coating. This pretreatment allows for a stronger and more consistent finish once powder coated.
  • Powder Coating: Step-4 – Vossen’s in-house powder coating facility, specifically developed for handling wheels, uses advanced components and the highest quality powders to produce an elegantly uniform finish that endures over time.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step-5 – Following powder coating, a final inspection is conducted. This includes checking the quality and consistency of the finish’s appearance and using a film thickness gauge to ensure uniformity. Once inspected, each wheel is cleaned and packaged for shipping to the customer.

GEN Series Center Caps

• The Vossen GEN Series features three expertly crafted center cap configurations, each designed to enhance the vehicle’s appearance. These center caps seamlessly cover the factory lug nuts, offering a sleek and refined center-lock look. All components are made from billet 6061 aluminum.
  • Plate Style: Each center cap configuration provides four customizable areas, standard on any Vossen Forged GEN Series wheel. Customers can choose a smooth center plate to highlight the spoke design or an aggressive plate with pocketing for added detail. Additionally, Vossen Floating Center Caps are available as an option.
