The Factory

• Vossen is one of the few companies globally that manufactures forged wheels entirely in-house. Based in Miami, Florida, Vossen’s TUV Verified facility is outfitted with a wide array of advanced machinery.

Engineered Art

• Vossen bridges the gap between the precision of custom forged wheels and the affordability of cast wheels. The company provides custom CNC machining to accommodate nearly any bolt pattern, center bore, and offset with remarkable precision and efficiency.

Design

• Vossen ensures exact fitment by measuring over 100 data points on each vehicle. Each wheel is custom-made for specific vehicle makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are machined using Vossen’s proprietary forging design, which allows for the creation of wheels with an efficient spoke profile, adding extra material on the face to support profiles ranging from flat to super deep concave. This innovative technique enables the production of an 8.5” wide wheel with concavity comparable to that of a 12.5” wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to deliver top-tier finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, Vossen Forged wheels maintain industry-leading quality through meticulous oversight of every step in the process.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – Following machining, each wheel is hand-sanded and deburred to ensure premium finishes. Wheels with a brushed finish undergo a thorough hand-sanding process that can take up to five hours per wheel, ensuring a consistent brushed surface.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most labor-intensive and rewarding part of the finishing process is brushing and polishing. Available as upgrade options in every Vossen Forged line, brushed wheels emphasize the beauty of the forged aluminum grain, while full ceramic polishing creates a mirror-like finish. Combining brushing and polishing offers the best of both finishes.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – After hand prep, all wheels undergo a seven-stage pre-treatment cleansing process to remove impurities before powder coating. This ensures a stronger and more uniform finish once powder coated.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s in-house powder coating facility, designed specifically for wheels, uses advanced components and high-quality powders to create a durable, uniform finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, a final inspection ensures the quality and consistency of the finish using a film thickness gauge to check for uniformity. Once inspected, each wheel is cleaned and packaged for shipment to the customer.

• Vossen’s center caps are meticulously engineered for durability and a cohesive appearance. Available in polished or brushed finishes, these caps come standard with a red “V” shield. Standard finishes are included at no additional cost, with the option to color match the wheel for an extra charge. For a premium experience, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with exclusive “V” inserts. Additionally, Vossen offers a floating cap option, which can be specified for Rolls Royce vehicles (must select a “plate” option for floating caps).
