The Factory

Engineered Art

Design

• Vossen guarantees a precise fit by measuring over 100 data points on each vehicle, customizing each wheel for specific makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are produced using their proprietary forging method, which allows for an optimized spoke profile with additional material on the face. This method supports profiles ranging from flat to ultra-deep concave, enabling an 8.5” wide wheel to achieve concavity similar to that of a 12.5” wide wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility uses cutting-edge technology to achieve high-quality finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, each stage of production is closely monitored to ensure top-level quality.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – After machining, each wheel is hand-sanded and deburred to achieve a premium finish. For brushed finishes, a detailed hand-sanding process, lasting up to five hours per wheel, ensures a smooth and consistent surface.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most time-intensive and rewarding part of the process is brushing and polishing. These options, available as upgrades, highlight the natural beauty of the forged aluminum grain, while full ceramic polishing delivers a mirror-like shine. The combination of these techniques provides the best of both finishes.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – After hand prep, all wheels go through a seven-stage pre-treatment cleansing process to remove impurities before powder coating, ensuring a stronger and more even finish.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s powder coating facility, designed specifically for wheels, uses advanced technology and high-quality powders to produce a durable and uniform finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, a final inspection using a film thickness gauge ensures the quality and uniformity of the finish. Once approved, each wheel is cleaned and packaged for shipment.

• Vossen’s center caps are designed for both durability and aesthetic harmony. Available in polished or brushed finishes, these caps feature the iconic red “V” shield as standard. Standard finishes come at no additional cost, with an option to color-match the cap to the wheel for an extra fee. For a premium touch, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with custom “V” inserts. Additionally, a floating cap option is available, customizable for Rolls Royce vehicles (a “plate” option is required for floating caps).
