The Voltex R35 GT-R wing is a Type 7.5 swan neck GT wing hand-built by Voltex Racing in Suzuka, Japan, for the R35 Nissan GT-R. It runs a deep 378mm airfoil on a center-mount swan neck, mounted on 245mm brackets with an SPL base, so the underwing airflow stays clean and the wing bolts on through Voltex’s vehicle-specific fitment rather than a universal mount. Every Voltex R35 GT-R wing is made to order in Japan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this Voltex R35 GT-R wing fit my car? Yes. The Voltex R35 GT-R wing mounts through a vehicle-specific bracket designed for the R35 Nissan GT-R (2009-present), not a universal mount. Because it is chassis-specific, fitment is confirmed for the R35 GT-R and no adapter or fabrication is required.
Is this wing wet carbon or dry carbon? This wing is built in wet carbon. Wet carbon is a resin-rich carbon fiber layup with a deep gloss finish, versus dry carbon which is cured under pressure for lower weight. This particular Type 7.5 configuration is offered in the 1800mm wet carbon build.
How does the swan neck mounting work? The swan neck setup mounts the wing from above the airfoil rather than below it. Removing the lower stanchion clears the wing’s underside, which keeps the high-pressure underwing airflow undisturbed and lets the airfoil generate downforce more efficiently across its full 378mm depth.
What end plate options are available? This wing is offered with a choice of Type A, Type B, Type C, Type D, or Type E end plates. Each end plate shape changes the wing’s side profile and how it manages airflow spilling off the wing tips, so the option is selected at order time to match the build.
How is this wing sold and what are the lead times? Every Voltex wing is hand-built and made to order in Suzuka, Japan, so it is not held in stock. Lead times apply and vary by production queue. Contact us for a current estimate before ordering so you can plan your build around the fabrication window.
Will the bracket contact the rear glass? The swan neck bracket may contact the rear glass when the trunk is opened on the R35 GT-R. This is expected with a center-mount swan neck of this height and does not affect the wing when the trunk is closed. Open the trunk with awareness of the bracket position.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
