Driven by the enduring legacy of the TE37, RAYS introduces the latest evolution: the Saga S-Plus. Since its debut in 1996, the original Volk Racing TE37 has undergone multiple refinements to align with the demands of sports driving, advanced tuning, and hard customization. In 2016, these advancements culminated in the TE37 Saga, featuring a redesigned face and updated mold. While the TE37 has always surpassed Japan’s JWL and VIA safety standards through RAYS’ proprietary JWL+R Spec-2 certification, further innovation was necessary. Recognizing major shifts in the automotive landscape — including increased vehicle weight and power, evolving traction characteristics from all-wheel-drive systems, and the growing use of high-grip tires — RAYS introduced the Saga S-Plus in January 2021. Every detail of this model was carefully reviewed to raise its safety threshold. Though the front-facing design remains unchanged, revisions to the spoke’s rear profile improve rigidity and structural integrity. These enhancements result in a modest weight gain of approximately 100 to 120 grams, a trade-off in pursuit of superior strength and security.

• RAYS’ proprietary design mold forging method shapes each wheel to its ideal form, generating seamless fiber flow throughout the structure. This technique ensures maximum strength and consistent rigidity, just as originally intended in the design.

Racing Concave

• Volk Racing adheres to the principles of rational design and functional lines. In response to the demand for varied sizes, widths, and offsets — while maintaining clearance for large brake systems — the TE37 utilizes a Racing Concave profile. This balance of utility and visual depth is a testament to the TE37’s ongoing legacy.

The Design Remains with Evolved Performance

• Structurally, the TE37’s original spoke layout remains exceptional. Each space between spokes forms a 60° triangle, a geometry known for effectively dispersing stress from the rim area. Regardless of concave depth or size variation, every spoke is adorned with a 3D-machined ‘VOLK RACING’ logo, a premium design feature that can’t be replicated with decals.

• The TE37 Saga S-Plus is offered in a wide variety of finishes to match diverse styling needs. Two finishes — Diamond Dark Gunmetal and Bronze (almite) — are considered standard. For drivers seeking a more customized aesthetic, special colors, hyper finishes, and a selection of vibrant shining colors are also available.
