Volk Racing TE37 Saga S-Plus Wheel

Driven by the destiny of the TE37, RAYS has introduced a new update called S-Plus. The original Volk Racing TE37, which debuted in 1996, has undergone numerous updates to meet changing demands. Its focus on sports driving, hard customization, and tuning has evolved into the current TE37 Saga, which debuted in 2016 with a refreshed design and new mold. The TE37 has always exceeded Japan’s JWL and VIA safety standards with RAYS’ own JWL+R Spec-2, but RAYS has decided to take it a step further. After five years, RAYS has recognized a number of significant changes in the automotive landscape, such as the increased weight and horsepower of C-segment vehicles, changes in weight distribution and traction with all-wheel drive, and the evolution of high-grip tires. RAYS judged these factors too significant to overlook and, beginning in January 2021, released a minor updated model, the Saga S-Plus. This new model has been meticulously reviewed in every part and detail to ensure a greater safety margin. Although there are no changes to the frontal design, the minor updates are reflected on the back side of the spoke shape. The gained weight will increase by approximately 100 to 120g depending on the size, a minor trade-off for higher rigidity and improved strength to meet a higher safety and security standard.

RAYS Prominent Design Mold Forging

• RAYS’s design mold forging technique creates and forges the wheel into its ideal shape. This forging method provides the wheel with strength and rigidity, as originally designed, by creating a seamless fiber flow throughout the entire wheel.

Racing Concave

• The ironclad rules of Volk Racing are ‘reasonable design and a functional line.’ The TE37 demands variable sizes, rims, widths, and offsets from customers, and its design was created to answer those demands while clearing big brake calipers — this is the Racing concave. This functional beauty is proof of the TE37’s legacy.

The Design Remains with Evolved Performance

• The design of the original TE37 is excellent from a structural point of view. The triangular space between each spoke is composed of a triangle with each internal degree of 60°. This shape has the ability to diffuse stress from the wheel rim. Additionally, even with the different concave offerings for each size, a 3D logo was machined onto the surface of each dimensional spoke. This premium feel can only be expressed by 3D logo machining, not with stickers.

• The Volk Racing TE37 Saga S-Plus is available in a wide range of finishes to suit various styles, with two colors considered standard. These are the classic Diamond Dark Gunmetal and Bronze (almite). For those seeking a unique look, there is a selection of special colors, various hyper colors, and for the most premium and eye-catching appearance — customers can choose from a range of shining colors.
