RAYS reimagines the ‘C’ for the 21st century with the Volk Racing 21C — an homage to the original Gr.C, updated through modern engineering and analysis. The 21C integrates Gr.C-inspired dimpled spokes with a stepped rim, executed as a forged one-piece wheel using RAYS’ proprietary forging process. Offered in multiple step-rim widths up to 12in to support wide-body applications, it delivers a blend of contemporary performance and nostalgic character tailored to the iconic machines of the ’80s and beyond.

Dimple Design

• The dimpled spoke motif is a RAYS hallmark inherited from the Volk Racing Gr.C. Building on this signature form, RAYS applies state-of-the-art design and analysis to advance the concept, introducing the 21C as a new C for the 21st century.

Bubble Back Processing

• Attention extends to the reverse side of the spokes. As expected, the cross section adopts a U shape, while the areas opposite each dimple are raised to secure sectional thickness — delivering optimized strength and rigidity.

Rim & Face

• Five rim depths from S (39mm) to LLL (108mm) and three face designs with varying concavity are offered. Executed as a forged one-piece with step-rim widths up to 12J, the 21C exemplifies what is achievable only through RAYS’ forging methodology.

A.M.T.

• ‘RAYS ENG. / FORGED / MADE IN JAPAN’ lettering is engraved on the center section using RAYS’ patented A.M.T. (advanced machining technology), underscoring the precision of the finish.
