How much power does the VF ECU Software for Bentley Continental GT V8 add?

VF Engineering quotes 620 hp and 650 lb-ft from its ECU Software for Bentley Continental GT V8 models, gains of 70 hp and 82 lb-ft over its stock figures for the car, all on the factory turbochargers. The torque gain is felt from low engine speeds.

Does the software fit the Continental GTC convertible?

The GTC shares the V8 with the coupe, but VF Engineering names only the Continental GT V8 in this listing. Owners of a GTC should give Bulletproof Automotive the exact model so VF can confirm the correct file before it is supplied.

How is the Continental software installed?

VF Engineering installs the calibration at its Anaheim facility in Southern California or through an authorized VF dealer. Bulletproof Automotive coordinates the appointment with VF after the order is placed, and nothing is added to the car or changed in its appearance.

Does the calibration fit the W12 Continental GT?

No. This calibration is written for the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 Continental GT. The W12 cars use a different engine and are not covered by this listing, so the engine should be confirmed before ordering. Each engine takes its own calibration.

What is the next step beyond the software?

VF Engineering builds the VF1000 twin turbo system for the Continental GT V8 and Flying Spur V8, which replaces the factory turbochargers for a far higher rating. The ECU software suits owners who keep the factory turbochargers in place. Both are sold separately.

Description

VF Engineering Performance ECU Software for Bentley Continental GT V8

VF Engineering’s Performance ECU Software for Bentley Continental GT V8 recalibrates the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 in the third-generation Continental GT, built from 2019. VF quotes 620 hp and 650 lb-ft with the software installed, gains of 70 hp and 82 lb-ft over its stock figures for the car, from revised boost, ignition and fueling on the factory turbochargers. The V8 Continental carries less weight over the nose than the W12, and the calibration gives it more pace to go with that balance. It suits an owner who uses the Continental as intended, crossing long distances quickly, and wants more in reserve.

About VF Engineering

VF Engineering designs supercharger and turbocharger systems, titanium exhausts and ECU and TCU calibrations from a 15,000 sq ft facility in Anaheim, Orange County, California, where it has been based for nearly two decades. Every calibration is developed in house on the company’s own Mustang AWD 500 chassis dyno, ECU boards are handled in a dedicated clean room, and new parts start in an R&D room equipped with a rapid prototyper. VF reports that more than 93 percent of its supercharger systems are still running after years of hard use, many on their second or third owner, and its engineers carry the testing discipline of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series into every road calibration.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
