How much power does the VF ECU Software for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ add?

VF Engineering quotes 790 hp and 550 lb-ft from its ECU Software for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Ultimae models. The torque gain over the factory 531 lb-ft is 19 lb-ft, and the main change on the road is sharper throttle response from the naturally aspirated V12.

Does the software fit the Aventador Ultimae?

Yes. VF Engineering lists the calibration for both the Aventador SVJ and the Aventador Ultimae, which share the most powerful version of the 6.5 liter V12. The earlier Aventador LP700-4, Aventador S and SV each take a separate VF calibration of their own.

How is the software installed on the SVJ?

VF Engineering installs the calibration at its Anaheim facility in Southern California or through an authorized VF dealer. Bulletproof Automotive coordinates the appointment with VF once the order is placed, and no hardware is added to the engine bay or anywhere else on the car.

Is the gain large enough to notice?

On an engine already this developed, VF Engineering presents the calibration as a refinement. Owners notice it most in how quickly the V12 answers the throttle and how cleanly it climbs toward the redline, rather than in a dramatic jump in outright pace.

Is there a higher output calibration for the SVJ?

Yes. VF Engineering also offers a Competition Package for the Aventador SVJ and Ultimae, sold as a separate listing. Bulletproof Automotive can explain the differences and confirm which option suits the car and how it is driven before an order is placed.

Description

VF Engineering Performance ECU Software for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Ultimae

VF Engineering’s Performance ECU Software for Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Ultimae is written for the two most powerful versions of the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, cars that already sit at the outer edge of what Lamborghini sold without turbochargers or hybrid assistance. VF quotes 790 hp and 550 lb-ft with the calibration installed, 19 lb-ft more torque than the factory 531 lb-ft. On an engine this highly developed the change is a refinement, with sharper response to the throttle and a cleaner climb through the rev range, rather than a transformation. It suits an owner who wants the last of the great atmospheric V12s honed further and nothing else on the car altered.

About VF Engineering

VF Engineering designs supercharger and turbocharger systems, titanium exhausts and ECU and TCU calibrations from a 15,000 sq ft facility in Anaheim, Orange County, California, where it has been based for nearly two decades. Every calibration is developed in house on the company’s own Mustang AWD 500 chassis dyno, ECU boards are handled in a dedicated clean room, and new parts start in an R&D room equipped with a rapid prototyper. VF reports that more than 93 percent of its supercharger systems are still running after years of hard use, many on their second or third owner, and its engineers carry the testing discipline of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series into every road calibration.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
