Valvetronic Designs elevates BMW’s newest M platform with the G87 M2 Valved Sport Exhaust, replacing the factory-muted character with a rich, assertive soundtrack. Informed by the brand’s proven G80 M3 equal-length midpipe technology, the system delivers greater volume, refined tone, and a more engaging drive, engineered specifically for the G87’s shorter wheelbase and unique packaging.

Sound and Control

• Valvetronic Designs engineers an equal-length, 3.5-inch free-flow mid-pipe to smooth tone, eliminate unwanted rasp, and enhance scavenging. With valves open, the system unleashes an unrestricted, aggressive note with pronounced overrun and a high-RPM scream; with valves closed, it reverts to a refined, near-stock volume for comfortable commuting and early starts. Electronic valve control enables rapid open / close via the included remote, with optional integration to the OEM valve system.

Performance Engineering

• Valvetronic Designs offers the system in brushed T304 stainless steel or lightweight Grade-5 titanium, delivering substantial weight savings, approximately 55.8 lb lighter than stock in titanium and 26.0 lb lighter in stainless. Engineered as a direct bolt-on, it utilizes OEM mounting points and mates to the factory downpipes. Precision TIG welding and fully mandrel-bent tubing ensure durability, strength, and optimal flow.

Notes

• When installing just the midpipe, make the cut at the OEM rear section between the first and second dimple for proper fitment
• Older Valvetronic Designs systems (V1 / V2) are not compatible with the latest V3 cat-back system. Upgrading to the V3 design is required for full compatibility.
