Valvetronic Designs introduces a Porsche OEM exhaust valve controller that delivers full manual command of factory valves in a simple, fully plug-and-play package. Compatible with all Porsche models equipped with vacuum-actuated exhaust valves—including 991.1 Carrera S cars that have valves but no cabin button—this controller places open / close control directly in the driver’s hands. Installation is straightforward and entirely plug-and-play.

Notes

• Due to supplier changes on the OEM side, the controller may need to have it’s polarity switched. For some 997 and 991 cars, it is plug and play. For others, due to a change in OEM valve solenoid supplier, the power and ground may need to be switched. We have designed the controller to be easily reversible.
• For 991.1+ Carrera and 981+ Cayman / Boxster models, the valves require a dedicated power feed—tap an auxiliary power source in the engine bay for proper controller operation. The controller is fully compatible but the install is more labor-intensive. Note that Porsche changed the polarity of certain valve components on some models; if the controller behavior is inverted relative to factory logic, simply swap the power and ground pins on the controller (supplier variation in solenoids). If the install is not straightforward plug-and-play, professional installation is recommended.
