The Unplugged Performance Carbon Refresh Aero Kit for the 2024+ Tesla Model 3 is a CFD-validated, prepreg dry carbon fiber aero bundle that delivers real aerodynamic improvements without the aggression of a full track-spec package. The front splitter shifts the car from lift to meaningful downforce, the diffuser extension reduces drag by approximately 2.4 percent while improving net downforce by around 534 N, and the rear spoiler is the product of 143 CFD-driven simulations balancing drag reduction and downforce gain. At 150 mph, the full package delivers a net aerodynamic shift of -434 N and moves the balance from front-heavy to more neutral, all while maintaining daily drivability. Autoclave-cured and built by Unplugged Performance in California, it’s available in gloss or satin carbon fiber finish and fits all 2024+ Model 3 trims.

Front Lift Reduction

Stock Model 3s generate a small amount of lift at higher speeds, and this splitter addresses that directly. Developed and validated with CFD by Unplugged Performance, it works alongside the other components in the aero package to shift the car from lift to meaningful downforce. At 150 mph, the full package delivers a net aerodynamic shift of -434 N, and the aero balance moves from front-heavy to more neutral.

Diffuser Development

CFD validation was central to this component’s development, ensuring it functions well beyond aesthetics. Paired with the Efficiency Spoiler, the diffuser extension reduced drag by approximately 40 N, around 2.4 percent, while improving net downforce by about 534 N in simulation. The longer diffuser expands the working surface area where pressure is lowest, adding rear grip and encouraging a cleaner air transition into the wake, which is what allows a diffuser to trim drag. Added strakes delay flow separation, keeping air attached farther back and supporting both stability and efficiency.

Rear Spoiler Efficiency

143 CFD-driven simulations went into developing and optimizing this spoiler’s airflow characteristics, with the goal of balancing drag reduction and downforce gain. Delaying flow separation and increasing trunk pressure, the spoiler improves aerodynamic efficiency and delivers better high-speed stability without affecting daily drivability. The engineering work has been done so drivers don’t have to wonder whether it makes a difference, because it does.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
