The 20” UP-03 Beadlock Forged Wheels take the term “hardcore” to the next level. These are truly functioning beadlock wheels and were designed and developed specifically for the Tesla Cybertruck. It is engineered for extreme off-road performance applications while maintaining street-legal, daily drivability. Produced in aerospace-grade forged aluminum for maximum strength, the wheel is designed to allow for true beadlock functionality in off-road applications or can be run without the beadlock at all for street driving.

At the heart of these groundbreaking wheels is a uniquely engineered design that allows for two different tire mounting methods. For full beadlock capability, the tire’s bead is mounted on the outside of the wheel’s rim and is locked in place using titanium hardware to secure the beadlock ring to the wheel allowing for low-tire-pressure applications in off-road and rock-crawling settings. Conversely, the tire’s bead can be mounted inside the wheel’s rim, with or without the beadlock ring in place, for traditional mounting for DOT-compliant highway and daily driving use.  Therefore, the wheel can deliver the best of both worlds for off-road and overlanding enthusiasts.

Enhanced Off-Road Capability:

Using the wheel’s beadlock mounting method allows for its tire pressure to be reduced to as low as 5 psi to increase the size of the tire’s contact patch resulting in maximum traction in challenging off-road situations.

DOT-Compliant for Highway Use:

When the tire bead is mounted inside of the wheel’s outer rim, it transforms into a standard wheel, fully compliant for legal highway use — a level of versatility unseen in typical beadlock wheels.

NOTE: Unplugged Performance is not responsible for any damage, injury, or legal consequences resulting from the use of the UP-03 Beadlock Forged Wheels outside of their intended purpose. These wheels are designed with two mounting options: 1) Street-legal use, where the tire’s bead is mounted inside the wheel’s outer rim, and 2) Off-road use, where the tire’s bead is mounted in beadlock form outside the rim and secured with a beadlock ring. The beadlock configuration is not street legal according to NHTSA regulations. Customers assume all liability and risk when using this product in non-street-legal configurations.

Forged for Strength:

Like Unplugged Performance’s standard UP-03 wheel, the UP-03 Beadlock wheels are crafted from the same high-strength forged aluminum for maximum lightweight durability, maintain the same I-beam spoke design for added strength, and the same barrel knurling to reduce tire slip, ultimately, ensuring they can withstand the most challenging off-road adventures while maintaining on-road comfort and range.

Form Meets Function:

The UP-03 offers an authentic beadlock style with the benefit of true beadlock functionality. This is not to be confused with a beadlock-style wheel that simply offers the looks or a beadlock wheel though falls short on any beadlock functionality or benefits. Additionally, this wheel is designed and engineered to be a direct fit for the Tesla Cybertruck allowing the use of Tesla factory lug nuts and TPMS sensors.

The Cyberrtruck-specific engineering for this version of the UP-03 Beadlock line features an increased weight rating and a lighter and more aggressive center cap design to match the truck’s hardcore aesthetics and fit the design ethos of UP INVINCIBLE®.

One wheel, two mounting options:

Non-Beadlock (traditional tire-on-rim-mounting) for street use – You can see the tire bead is mounted inside the wheel’s rim with no dependency on the beadlock ring. The ring and hardware can be removed entirely, or retained for the beadlock look.

Beadlock Mounted – Here you can see how the tire’s bead is mounting outside the wheel’s rim and is secured in place by the beadlock ring. This allows the tire to be operated at very low pressures for rock crawling and other demanding off-road performance uses.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario.
