Super Autobacs ASM Carbon Aero Bonnet
Constructed from carbon prepreg using 6 atm autoclave molding techniques, designed and brought to life by one of Japan’s pre-eminent carbon composite factories. It’s a practical element that specializes in the maximization of exhaust heat dissipation within the engine compartment, and incorporates exhaust heat ducts situated centrally and on the two side extremities. Only the duct component is positioned towards the rear, actually augmenting the opening area of the left and right ducts.
This premier carbon bonnet, explicitly designed for the RZ34, includes an additional gurney flap that decreases direct wind impact on the windscreen, and incorporates a drainage duct feature on the structure’s spine. This permits uncovered parking in inclement weather conditions by routing away rainwater.
Autobacs, the brainchild of Toshio Sumino, came into being in 1947 in Fukushima-ku, Osaka, originally personified as Suehiro Shokai Co. Ltd., only to be reinvented as Fuji Shokai Co. Ltd in the subsequent year.
It was 1960, when Sumino initiated the Fuji Drive Shop, paving the path to Japan’s first substantial automotive goods store. Nearly a decade later, he expanded his portfolio by sponsoring a vehicle for the Japanese Grand Prix, marking his debut in motorsport sponsorship.
Since then, Autobacs has grown to become one of Japan’s most revered and respected tuning shops carrying their own bespoke line of parts as well as all of the top Japanese brands.
