Does the Reclining Seat Rail for CL7 include the seat?

No. The rail is the mounting only, and the Spoon reclining bucket seat, part ALL-81200-001, is sold separately. Spoon lists this CL7 rail by part number in the seat catalogue entry as the Accord Euro R match, so the two are designed to be ordered together, one rail per seat.

Will it fit an Acura TSX?

No. Spoon registers the rail for the Japanese-market Accord Euro R, chassis CL7, in both its LA and ABA series with the 6-speed manual. The Acura TSX is a different chassis and does not appear in the Spoon fitment list, so BA does not offer this rail for it.

Are both front seats covered by one purchase?

No. Each option is one rail for one seat position, so an owner fitting Spoon seats on both sides orders a Left and a Right. A Euro R that receives a single Spoon seat, with the factory seat kept on the other side, needs only the one rail.

Can the rail later carry the Spoon carbon bucket seat?

Yes, with an extra part. Go Tuning, the US distributor for Spoon, states that the Reclining Seat Rail for CL7 can be reconfigured with the Spoon side bracket made for the carbon bucket seat. That bracket is sold separately and is not part of this listing.

How heavy is the rail?

Spoon lists it at 8.5 kg, and it ships in a carton measuring 61 x 55 x 18 cm. Spoon does not state whether the figure includes packaging, so treat it as a shipping guide rather than a measured weight saving over the factory seat runners.

Description

Spoon Sports Reclining Seat Rail for CL7 Honda Accord Euro R

The Spoon Sports Reclining Seat Rail for CL7 Honda Accord Euro R mounts Spoon’s reclining bucket seat, part ALL-81200-001, in the K20A sedan that Honda sold in Japan from 2002 to 2008. The pairing makes sense for this car. The Euro R was a fast four-door meant to be used every day, and Spoon designed the reclining seat for that same compromise: a bucket that lets the driver read the chassis through the hips and braces the shoulders so the eye line stays put, with a backrest that still adjusts for a long run on the expressway. Spoon registers the rail across both CL7 series, the LA-CL7 from October 2002 and the ABA-CL7 from November 2005, each with the 6-speed manual. It is listed at 8.5 kg per side. For a Euro R owner who wants support without a fixed-back race seat, this is the correct Spoon mounting; a dedicated track car is better served by a fixed shell.

The Accord Euro R was sold in Japan only, and Spoon does not list this Reclining Seat Rail for CL7 for the US Acura TSX
Go Tuning states this rail can be reconfigured with the Spoon Side Bracket for Carbon Bucket Seat, sold separately

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
