By replacing the restrictive factory merge with a smooth cast T304L stainless X-pipe, this assembly allows exhaust pulses to cross over cleanly, reducing turbulence, improving flow, and lending a crisper, more refined, and sportier exhaust note in both standard and PSE sport modes. The Straight Cut Single Wall tips finished in Satin Black give the rear of the car a purposeful, motorsport-inspired, stealthy aesthetic that still feels OEM-plus. Development

• In the factory Boxster / Cayman “T” tip section, exhaust gases collide before exiting the tips, leading to turbulence and compromised performance as a cost-cutting measure. However, incorporating a smooth, cast X-pipe into the rear section establishes a more efficient flow path for the exhaust gases. This improvement is expected to slightly increase gas mileage during cruising and enhance power during aggressive acceleration. The interior casting of the X-pipe is designed to be smooth, without any protrusions from welds. Non-cast designs often face failure at this point due to stress and potential welding technique deficiencies. The conscious decision has been made to offer the most durable X-pipe solution possible.
