Development

• Their objective was to create a cost-effective valved exhaust system that seamlessly transitioned from “Cruising Sunday” mode to “Track Day” mode with a simple press of a button. The default setting was designed to have the valves closed, ensuring a refined startup experience without disturbing the garage’s or neighboring residences’ tranquility. A key priority was to minimize drone during operation. Recognizing the opportunity provided by Porsche’s inclusion of a removable section of piping in the exhaust system, they ingeniously incorporated valved Muffler Bypass tubes in this ideal location.

Construction

• Every set is meticulously crafted in-house by Soul’s skilled fabrication team, using brand-new OEM Porsche muffler piping and purpose-built valves specifically designed for the application. The valves are set to a closed mode by default, ensuring seamless integration with the vehicle’s original configuration.

Sound

• Rest assured, when starting up your Boxster in your garage, there is no need to worry as the valves are closed by default. This ensures that the original Porsche driving characteristics and exhaust note are preserved until you choose to open the valves. Once you do, you will be greeted with an assertive bark as the mufflers are bypassed, delivering an aggressive and captivating sound experience.
