The SOUL Performance Products Valved Exhaust System for the Porsche 981 GT4, Boxster Spyder, and Clubsport  is engineered to amplify the 3.8L flat-six while keeping the car genuinely streetable. With the valves closed, it delivers a refined, sporty tone with no drone at highway speeds (with factory headers or high-flow catted headers) and lets drivers cruise quietly when needed. Open the valves and the system transforms into a more aggressive, back-road-and-track-ready soundtrack with sharper blips and a more pronounced bark on downshifts. Constructed from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with 2.5-inch OD over-axle piping and fortified-case mufflers, the system is built for long-term durability and drone control. Valve operation remains compatible with the factory valve button, and SOUL also notes compatibility with their controller fobs and HomeLink. Every exhaust is fixture-tested for fitment, foam packed for delivery, and includes installation instructions for a direct bolt-on install. Development

• The Porsche GT4 is a masterfully engineered machine, and its 3.8L flat-six delivers a distinct wail that deserves to be amplified. SOUL Performance designed the Valved Exhaust System to unlock more of the GT4’s potential while keeping it truly streetable. With the valves closed, it produces a refined, sporty tone with no drone at highway speeds when paired with factory headers or high-flow catted headers, while maintaining the ability to come and go quietly thanks to high-quality mufflers. Because many owners choose to run free flow headers on the street, minimizing drone was a key development goal. Open the valves and the system transforms the experience – encouraging windows-down driving on back roads or full-attack track sessions, with each blip and downshift delivering a sharp, exhilarating bark.

Construction

• Each SOUL Performance system is constructed from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel tubing, including 2.5-inch OD over-axle pipes, and features mufflers with fortified casings for long-term durability. With the valves closed, exhaust gases are routed through the SOUL muffler, which is packed with high-quality sound-deadening material engineered to withstand abuse and resist blowout over time while effectively minimizing drone. In this mode, gases travel through the muffler and exit through perforations into the outer piping. With the valves open, exhaust gases flow through large 2.5-inch piping, while the perforations allow the flow to interact with the muffler to create a fuller, more robust tone. A variety of 321 stainless exhaust tips is available in multiple styles and finishes, with custom options offered upon request, and titanium single-wall tips are also available to save nearly a pound compared to stainless tips.

Bolt On and Go

• Each SOUL Performance exhaust is test-fit in a dedicated fixture to verify proper fitment, then foam packed to help ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Detailed installation instructions are included for a straightforward install that most DIY enthusiasts can complete. Valve operation is controlled through the factory valve button, SOUL’s valve controller fobs, and is compatible with HomeLink.
